It's unbelievable that this is the March issue! It will be Christmas soon Lol!

CHARLIE LANDSBOROUGH UK Spring Tour 2006

The highly respected and much-loved artist Charlie Landsborough hits the road again this Spring, it is his third major UK tour since the beginning of 2005.

Starting with two dates in Ayr on March 22nd and 23rd, the tour comprises 16 major shows before finishing at Skegness on April 9th. It also includes a very special evening at the Southport Theatre on March 29th which will be filmed for future DVD release.

These dates follow hot on the heels of Charlie's latest tour of Australia throughout February, and a hugely successful 2005, which saw two nationwide outings along with a brand new album, "My Heart Would Know", released in October.

Charlie and his five-piece band are well known for keeping concertgoers enthralled with his heartfelt and telling lyrics and his very human anecdotes. His music ranges from inspirational to country, from ballad to anthem, and he truly is as entertaining on stage as he is melodic.

As well as receiving a nomination as best Global Country Artist in the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Charlie has received rave reviews for his shows at the Liverpool Summer Pops Festival and his headline slot at Birmingham's sold-out Charity night at the Symphony Hall, not to mention playing to packed houses around the globe.

"My Heart Would Know" features 16 tracks in all, 12 original Charlie Landsborough compositions and four cover versions. The title track, written in memory of his brother who had Alzheimer's disease, has already received incredible reaction when played live. "My Heart Would Know" looks all set to follow the longevity success of the previous CD "Portrait of Charlie Landsborough".

THE JOHN OTWAY WORLD TOUR

(Rock 'n' roll history ...round the world in 14 days...own band, own jet, own audience...)

JOHN OTWAY's 30 year career as the music business' greatest failure has been overwhelmingly successful....a hit in 1977 ("Really Free") followed by another in 2002 ("Bunsen Burner"). But all that is about to change....another momentous line is to be added to the Otway success story.

On October 28th John Otway, along with 300 of his fans, step on board his own
'Ot-Air' jet to embark on his own unique world tour. It sees him playing the greatest venues in the world in the greatest cities in the world. The party will check in at Ot-Air desks and be looked after by Ot-Air crew.

Our hero will be seen in New York, Las Vegas, Sydney, Shanghai and Dubai along with Special Guests on each date. Rest and relaxation days will be on the best beaches in the world (Tahiti) while Carlsbro, John's amp and PA manufacturers, will host a massive party and concert in Ningbo with their Chinese partners. In fact Otway will be the very first rock act to play Ningbo.

The Airbus 340 will cost Otway just under a million pounds. Otway and his audience will kick off at the Cavern before leaving John Lennon airport to fly to JFK. However, as all rock fans know, a prerequisite for playing the Cavern is to practice in Hamburg. While the Beatles were nobodies when they did it and therefore had to spend several months there, Otway has already had two hits so will sail out on the QM2 and practice for a mere couple of hours.

The tour runs from October 28th – November 12th. A full documentary of the event is already in place. Places on the plane are on sale now and being snapped up fast.....download an order form from www.johnotway.com or email [email protected] for further details.

Rock 'n' roll history is a rare and treasured thing. To be part of it is truly special. The John Otway World Tour is guaranteed to be a milestone in the annals of rock – and once in a lifetime everyone should do something rock 'n' roll....

I just love these type of stories, don't you ? Lol
